Prof. Rich Moccia and new ABSc Assistant Prof. David Huyben were invited to participate in a 3 day meeting which included the Ontario Indigenous Aquaculture and Science tour.  The event brought together farmers, federal and provincial government representatives and the two UG scientists to discus opportunities and science gaps needed to support the development of the indigenous fish farming sector in Ontario.  The trip focussed on rainbow trout and whitefish culture, two important species to indigenous people's in the province.
