As we go through another semester of remote learning, we are reminded that we are all in this together. Let’s come together to celebrate all that is being accomplished!

As such, the ABSc GSC is organizing a virtual Creative Expression of Research Competition for everyone to appreciate the amazing research being conducted in the Department!

HOW IT WORKS: 

Enter individually and express your research in a form of your choosing!! ALL are encouraged to participate (including students, postdocs, staff, and faculty)!! Examples of entry formats include: blog post, picture, drawing, poem, infographic, social media post. **(entries must be below one page in length)**

Submissions can be sent to abscgsc@uoguelph.ca [1] from February 9 to March 19. Please include your name and supervisor name (if applicable). Submissions will be showcased on various Departmental platforms including social media.

The Weekly Creativity Draw

There will be a random weekly draw of all submissions received to date each Friday from February 19 to March 19. So the earlier you send in your submission the more chances you have to win! Winners will receive a $20.00 e-gift card to a business of their choice!!

Final Voting

Voting for the all-time favourite submission(s) will occur from March 20 to March 26. Winners to be announced on March 27.

• First place will receive a $100.00 e-gift card to the business of their choice
• Second place will receive a $50.00 e-gift card to the business of their choice
  ** second place awarded only if there are more than 10 competition entries **
• Third place will receive a $25.00 e-gift card to the business of their choice
  ** third place awarded only if there are more than 15 competition entries **
