Brandon Van Soest, a PhD candidate working with Dr. Trevor DeVries [1], has been awarded the Dairy Farmers of Ontario (DFO) doctoral scholarship. Valued at $105,000 over 3 years, the scholarship will support Von Soest while he is carrying out research into the nutritional management of robot-milked cows.
