Henk is an ambitious and independent researcher with cross-disciplinary skills. He has strong quantitative skills and uses these together with his curiosity and discipline to unravel the biological mechanisms of life. After a PhD on Bovine Rumen Fermentation/Methane emission Modeling at Wageningen University, a postdoc at UC Davis, and a postdoc in Computational Systems Biology at Wageningen University, Henk currently works for the Ellis lab at the UofG Centre for Nutrition Modeling.
