I am a Master of Science student in the Department of Animal Biosciences at the University of Guelph, supervised by Wendy Pearson. I am passionate about any topic related to improving the health of horses and am eager to gain hands-on research experience in the field. I graduated from the University of Guelph in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology. After completing my undergraduate degree, I worked as an Equine Veterinary Assistant before beginning my graduate studies. My professional and academic background is rooted in the horse industry with extensive hands-on experiences and specialized coursework in animal nutrition. My goal is to continue to contribute to advancements in equine health research, either through pursuing a PhD or working within the industry. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my horse, Freedom or my three cats - Henry, Harriet and Hazel.
