You are invited to a Research and Teaching seminar in ANNU 141 for the Assistant/Associate Professor in Meat Science/Muscle Biology faculty position in the department of Animal Biosciences/ OAC. Following the presentation, you will have an opportunity to engage in a collaborative discussion during the Q&A session.
Our next candidate, Dr. Óscar López-Campos, will be giving a presentation titled “A holistic approach to meat science and muscle biology?”.
Abstract:
As global demands for high-quality, sustainable meat continue to grow, it is essential to examine the entire meat production chain through a holistic approach. This seminar will highlight short, medium, and long-term vision and strategies in the field of meat science/muscle biology, including research, education, or industry perspectives and practices that can drive innovation and support best practices from farm to fork. The seminar will also present the synergies and collaborative research opportunities to achieve these objectives.
